(sweet customers) Gavin's 6th Pirate Birthday Party

I was so excited when I open my inbox to find this amazing Pirate party from Amy L.B. Photography  using our Pirate printables she did an amazing job on her son's Gavin's 6th Birthday, not to mention she made everything herself with the help of her husband on the pirate ship. She took lots of detailed photos so sit back and enjoy her amazing party along with fabulous Photos!

Heres what Amy had to say, This vintage pirate party was filled with neat antique props from my husband's family. Miniature suitcases for photo slides and cosmetic case from the 40s and 50s. It was the perfect timing that we inherited these items days before the party. The display wouldn't complete without them. I spent lots of time looking for the perfect pirate birthday printable and I found them at CupcakeExpress (http://www.etsy.com/shop/CupcakeExpress?ref=seller_info). Ashley created the ideal pirate theme party package that was not too cute for a 6 year old boy and had lots of character. I had way too much fun with everything and spiced them up with tulle, streamer, burlap, etc. 

Favors-Favor boxes were made with printable from Cupcake Express and I glued ribbon as the handle. Included mini color pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener, and tattoo.

Activity & Games-Craft tableCrayons, color pencil, glue sticks, color marker, pom poms, Pirate foam stickers, Pirate Ship cutouts.- Photo BoothWe had a full table of props for the kids. All the kids dressed up as pirates and had tremendous fun posing for me. I love all the little pirates running around and enjoying the party.-Treasure HuntThe treasure box had LOTS of chocolate golden coins and crayon skulls and bones we made.- Water Balloon FightWe decided not to have them fight at each other but to create a ship for them to throw water balloons at. My husband, the pirate ended up standing in the back as target. 100 balloons were gone in less than 3 minutes!- PinataI made this tougher than I thought. I was afraid the candies were too heavy so I added extra layers of newspaper. In the end, no one could break this skull! We ended up tearing apart with help from the kids.

Halle's 7th Candy Shoppe Birthday Party

My daughter had been bagging for a Candy Shoppe Party ever since her last birthday. So I started designing her Candy Shoppe Printables, they turned out great and she helped with the designs every step of the way.  So played a big part in the designs and told me what she likes and disliked :-)  I didn't want to do your typical candy shoppe party with tons and tons of candy so we stuck with some candy and added some cupcakes and sugar cookies for the dessert table.  Then she told me she wanted a big bright cake with gumballs and lollipops. I am not a cake decorator so i stuck with simple designs such as circles, diamonds and ribbon to cover the bottoms of each cake layer! LOL  I had also seen a post on Pinterest with cupcake poppers, so i attempted those they were a little messy and not as easy as they looked, but sure did taste good and the kids loved them , they could just grab and eat in a few bits.   I contacted Lynlee North Beckett from Lynlee's Petite Cakes and she designed some awesome fondant cupcake toppers that went perfectly with her party. I also got some amazing candy shoppe sugar cookies from  Ira from the The Cookie Jar. over all her party was a big hit and everything she had wanted for her candy shoppe party!

Minnie Mouse Birthday Party

I planned this minnie Mouse party for my Nieces Quinn's 2nd Birthday. I wasn't sure at first if I would be planning it or her mom. At about 6 weeks before the party I found out I was planning and decorating her whole party!! I was extremely excited but also knew I had to jump right into party planning mod. With not much time I was so glad that Lynlee North Beckett from Lynlee's Petite Cakes  and Ira Stone from The Cookie Jar were able to squeeze my custom dessert orders in. Such awesome ladies to work with :-) Once I got all the goodies all planned out, I started on the party decorations. I knew my Pink Minnie Mouse Printables (http://www.etsy.com/listing/80040814/diy-minnie-mouse-deluxe-birthday-party) would be perfect for her 2nd Birthday. I was searching for some cute #2 lollipops when I came across Autumn Lynns Chocolate Sins ( http://www.etsy.com/shop/AutumnLynnsSins?ref=pr_shop_more) they had the cutest chocolate lollipops, so I knew I had to get them ordered quick. Autumn had them done and sent out to me within 2 weeks she was awesome to work with. In just 6 short weeks everything came together perfectly for my niece's 2nd birthday.
